I’ve Chosen My Side: Cylon (Ride)!

That was what I could think of about the Battlestar Gallactica Cylon (Blue) Ride at Universal Studios Singapore. Finding my way down the exit way from that ride while all dizzy and out of balance, I thought this was one ride that no one should miss if they wanted the ‘thrill’ rides at Sentosa’s movie theme park. It’s been almost 4 months since I’ve been to Singapore but this is the first time I got to visit Universal Studios (thanks to Jubay/Renz for the FREE tickets. hehe) . I have only USJ (Japan) to compare, but the theme park here is quite small. Also, it didn’t have the ‘Spiderman’ ride (or something similar) which I think is the best ride ever. However, visiting USS is still worth it. And, that is thanks mainly to two thrill rides: the Mummy and Battlestar Gallactica. (not sure about the Jurassic Park rides as I didn’t get to try

The COMEX will be held at Suntec Level 1, 2, 3, 4 & 6 on September 1st~4th. Operating hours will 12NN~9PM. I’m sure it’s going to be jam-packed again (as usual)! This time, I’m ready to get my hands on my target Lenovo B520 All-In-One. I’m so excited, that a few days of waiting seems like a lifetime. The COMEX website here , have the event schedule up. Go check it out. It’s going to be less than a week from now, so some time to catch up on the latest tech trends and consider which next gadget to add as part of our ‘basic needs’ list. Hehe. Good luck hunting!

It all started with the Big Bang!!

When i say ‘hooked’ i meant: can’t live my life without at least watching 2 episodes before going to bed every night. And some of you might already be down the same road but for those who aren’t, here’s an intro: The Big Bang Theory is about a bunch of 4 geeky guys (who all work in a University as physicists/professors, etc) and how their ‘world’ is rocked when they met this new blonde girl next door. Being the only ‘normal’ person in the bunch Penny finds that living next door with guys of IQ she never thought possible (nor socially healthy) is quite an interesting ride. Well, the guys find it equally challenging as Leonard, Sheldon, Howard and Rajesh welcomes the bombshell from Omaha into their quite exclusive circle. If you haven’t realized it yet, this series is geeky, nerdy and uses a lot of techno-jargon in the

The Rise of the Planet of the Apes: The Apes are Back!

I’ve heard that it’s been receiving good reviews, so I went out on a lazy Saturday afternoon and watched it at Lido Cinema (one of the bigger ones in Singapore – for me, the best I’ve been in so far here). The Rise of the Planet of the Apes, is actually the 7th ‘Planet of the Apes’ movie – the last one having Mark Wahlberg as the ‘lost’ astronaut. This time though,  there are no astronauts or spaceships (in the main storyline, that is) as this movie is the prequel to the time when Apes rule the Earth.
