How to get an OEC online
It is way easier to get an OEC now, more than ever.
No need for the hassle of queuing, printing or even paying for it!
Now, all you need is your phone (or a laptop) and the internet.
Ah finally, I think the Philippines is catching up with the rest of the world. Baby steps.
Anyway, there is only one step that would cause a bit of trouble but once past that then your life would be so much a better, i tell you.
Here are the steps:
A. Registering (this is the troublesome part)
1. Open up bmonline webpage, either on your laptop or on your phone.

2. Sign up as a new user and get a schedule to one of the POEA or the Philippine Embassy if outside of the Philippines.
3. Here are a few things you need when signing up:
- and e-mail address (you need to check later for the confirmation)
- a photo that you can upload (ID picture)
4. Follow the instructions and the schedule. Then visit POEA or Philippine Embassy on your schedule.
There is no going around this one. You really have to be there in person to complete your registration. Please bring your Passport and contract or work pass on the day of your visit.
Once you complete the registration, you may proceed with the following on ALL your succeeding OEC requests.
B. Getting OEC online
1. Open up bmonline webpage, either on your laptop or on your phone.
http://bmonline.ph/
You can do this before or on the day of your flight going back to your work country (e.g. Manila -> Singapore).
2. Log-in using your e-mail and password.
If you forget your password, just follow the 'forgot password' link.
3. Once logged in, you would be at your profile page.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Acquire OEC or Exemption.
4. Type in your flight schedule (return date to work country)
5. Confirm that you are still working under the same company.
6. Click Acquire Exemption
You will then get an exemption number.
7. Take a screenshot of the number or write it down.
Save this on your phone.
On your flight date, just show the airline check-in counters and immigration your screenshot or your number. No need to print anything!
Like i said, once you get past Registration, ALL your succeeding OECs will just be a number that you present at the airport.

Hello po thanks sa post. Pano po pag nagchange ng employer? Pwd ba sa airport kukuha na owwa at oec? Kasi po uuwi ako ng may 20 tas balik ako agad sa may 23.. salamat po.. bali po kasi sa may 19 ko pa makukuha ung new IC ko.. kaso uwi ako kinabukasan..

DeletePlease call Philippine Embassy so they can advise you. Just make sure that you already have your work pass before traveling. Hahanapin kc sa airport ung pass mo aside from OEC. May mga POEA staff din sa airport (NAIA) to help you out. Ask them assist you when you arrive in PH. As long as nasa iyo na ung pass mo, i think you won't have any problems.

Problem ko, change employer ako and no record found sa BM Online Account ko. �� di ko ineexpect na mahirap mag-apply pag change employer and direct hired, been searching for articles online. ��

Do i have to wait for the new passport so that i can key in the new date of validity?
